While in the NICU with their identical twin girls, born at 23 weeks and 6 days gestation, A NICU nurse told Eric and Kristin Moan to measure their babies’ growth by taking a photograph every day with the same stuffed animal. Instead, they chose a Mr. Potato Head, which is easier to clean and disinfect.

The Moans started the Potato Head Project to provide Mr. Potato Head toys to

families in the NICU. The organization is there to provide families with a place to turn and a way to watch your baby grow as they reach their milestones!
